“I was initially attracted to Ben Burgess because of John Deere’s strong reputation and the company’s strong position to support the brand. It was a no-brainer for me. Ben Burgess has all the attributes required to promote John Deere’s future aspirations, including the development of autonomous technologies and whatever the future holds.

One task that made me feel particularly proud was the flexibility within the company to support customers as we stand on the cusp of harvest. Being able to assist farmers at a moment’s notice with loan units, for example, and having it feel like second nature rather than ‘bending over backwards’ is a great feeling.

The company’s structure is well thought out, certainly compared to others in the industry. My introduction to Ben Burgess was smooth, and knowing that there’s readily available support in the background gives you the courage to make difficult on-the-spot decisions.
